Congratulations to our Virtual Fun Run Series’ participants who were able to take part in the Mother’s Day 5k – we have been blown away by your enthusiastic participation!

For those who were unable, or those new to the series, never fear…

Our second fun run challenge week is fast approaching!

The Details:

When:      12am, Sunday, May 23rd to 11:59pm, Saturday, May 29th

Distance:   5km, 10km, or 21.1km

      • Walk it, jog it, run it, walk-run-walk it!
      • In one outing, or over the course of the week

Where:      a route of your choice – try a new spot, or go to a favourite place

As many have commented on our Facebook page, it has been truly inspiring to read all the posts during our first fun run.  From Sarah Lynn, who ran her first 5k ever, to all the families who’ve signed up and are completing the distance over two or three outings – GREAT job, All!  

And we want to give a special Shout Out to our out-of-town participants…we have series’ participants in Vanderhoof, Williams Lake, Vancouver, and Collingwood, Ontario.  THANKS for running with us!!

Finally, just a reminder to continue to follow provincial physical distancing guidelines and Health Orders.
