Fun Run Series Sponsors

THANK YOU!

We are incredibly grateful to our generous sponsors, who so willingly agreed to lace up and help us hit the ground running with our 2021 Virtual Fun Run Series…

Diamond Sponsors:

IRL Supplies Inc.is family owned and operated business that has been providing supplies to professionals in the resource industries since 1958.  Rob and Martha Romeyn have been sponsors of the Prince George Road Runners for the past several years and were excited to be involved with our Virtual Fun Run Series.  Their generous donation will go towards supporting other local businesses – participants in the Fun Run series will receive locally made Finisher’s medals and be eligible for locally-sourced event draw prizes over the course of the six-month series.

Shift Creative Solutions

Shift Creative Solutions is a local website design company with a passion for all things technology.  We were really early into explaining how we hoped this fun run series would give city residents a much-needed ‘something to do’ as we continue to navigate Covid restrictions, when Creative Director, Luke Hutchison, said he was in!  Shift Creative has agreed to be a major sponsor of the Prince George Road Runners for the next several years – revamping our website and providing us with the tech support we need to be ‘here’ for you!  Luke is looking forward to the inspiring posts from participants on our Facebook page as you tackle each event.

TDB Consultants Inc is a resource management company, headquartered in Prince George, that has specialized in providing contracting and consulting services to the natural resource community for the past 30 years.  With extensive experience in forestry, vegetation management, renewable & non-renewable energy, and the mining sector, TDB provides services to resource business communities across Canada.  The Prince George Road Runners are grateful to TDB for partnering with us to give city residents a motivating, but safe way to stay healthy for the 2021 run season.

Emerald Sponsors:

Alpine Creative offers a range of creative solutions in graphic design, social media marketing, and web design. Proudly based in Prince George, Jordan Conway and his team are heavily inspired by the region they serve, as they look to elevate your business.  Alpine Creative was instrumental in coming up with the graphics for PGRR’s new race, the Centennial Relay, in 2019 and quickly jumped on-board to design the promotional material for our 2021 Virtual Fun Run Series.

Ascentech solutions Inc

AscenTech Solutions Inc. is Northern BC’s leader in software development and managed IT services, serving the   healthcare, natural resources, and post-secondary sectors.  Earlier this year, AscenTech established the Chad Staley   Memorial Athletic Foundation to honour former Prince George Spruce King, Chad Staley, who passed away in March,     2020. The foundation will be focused on sport and mental health, as it works to provide financial resources and   developmental experiences to youth who need a little extra help to excel – Chad always wanted to help ‘the little guys’.  PGRR is grateful to AscenTech for their donation of an Apple iPad, which some lucky participant in our Virtual Fun Run Series will win in our grand prize draw in October!

Canadian Benefits Investment & Insurance Group Inc offers customized insurance and financial solutions for Prince George residents and their businesses.  CBIG was quick to sponsor PGRR’s 2021 Virtual Fun Run Series with a donation that will be paid forward as PGRR buys local for our event draw prizes.

Northern Hart Designs is a unique, local company that specializes in fabricating custom artwork. Owners/Artists, Thomas Torraville and Shyla Jago, bring all ideas for personalized wood & steel designs to life.  Their store in the Hart Shopping Centre is a gallery of amazing artwork – from that one-of-a-kind address sign to custom designed bed frames. Thomas was kind enough to prepare a laser-engraved sample of a very Prince George wooden medal for the 2021 VFRS and, from there, agreed to become an event sponsor…we’re excited to unveil, at a later date, what he’s created for some lucky draw winners.

Stride and Glide Sports is Northern BC’s running and cross-country skiing tech shop – they’re focused on helping you find the right gear for your needs.  The entire team at S&G is an invaluable resource to the Prince George Road Runners, and to the community at large.  For the VFRS, Shayne and Tuppy have donated a bunch of swag for the Fun Run event draws and 10 – yes, 10! – S&G gift certificates that will be handed out over the course of the six month series.

The Prince George Road Runners want to give a HUGE shout out to Tiani Trucking for its generous support of this season’s event.  It is the willingness of local businesses like Tiani Trucking to ‘give back’ that makes Prince George such a rich, vibrant community.  Many thanks.

Gold Sponsor:

Ritual Coffeeworks is located in downtown Prince George at the corner of 3rd Avenue and George Street.  Featuring specialty coffee and delicious pastries, this cafe quickly became a favourite spot to kick off our monthly Sunday morning runs in the fall of 2018.  They’ve been missing us and we’ve been missing them – we look forward to when we’re able to host the Sunday morning coffee run once again.  In the meantime, Ritual is hooking us up with a bag of finely roasted coffee beans for one lucky winner after each Fun Run.

Silver Sponsor:

Half Moon Soap Co is a local farm-based business that makes handcrafted soaps from goat milk, hand-rendered local   tallow, olive oil, and coconut oil.  Participants in the fun run series will have the chance to win one of two beautifully     handcrafted bars donated for every event draw prize – that’s 16 chances to win over the course of the VFRS!
